JUICE CLEANSE HOW-TO

You have your good stuff in hand... Now what??

First things first, give yourself a PAT ON THE BACK -- way to go making the decision to do something great for yourself! Next up, please note that there is no one single way to do WELLNESS as long as good choices are happening. So you do you, and find a way to fit this cleanse in in a way that FEELS RIGHT to you. Just getting these NUTRIENT-PACKED beauties in, one way or another, will give you a BOOST -- regardless of how you consume them. 

If you do plan to follow and enjoy a more traditional cleanse plan, below is a suggested plan you can choose to follow if it feels right.

We suggest you begin your day with a warm glass of water with fresh lemon if you can -- it's a great way to start your day off on the right foot. 

Remember to shift and change this plan as you need to so that it fits your life. This is a guideline that we have found to work well for most. If it feels right to you, go for it!

Be sure you are drinking plenty of water throughout the day as well. Though fresh juice does help hydrate us, our bodies also need the real deal -- water not only keeps us hydrated, but it also helps us to flush out what we don't need lingering around too. Herbal tea is also a fabulous addition to your cleanse (we highly suggest skipping any added sweeteners if possible -- especially when cleansing).

Sometimes when we cleanse, we mistake the craving to chew for hunger. If you find yourself noticing this and needing to alleviate the craving, grab some raw celery, carrots, or cucumber. None of these options will take away the benefits from your cleanse, yet they should quickly take care of that need to crunch, so you can move on with your day. 

Stay on schedule with your juices/soups/plant-based milks -- regardless of whether you feel hungry or not. Waiting too long or skipping a juice can sometimes cause us to lose energy and crash, or can even encourage us to give into cravings that will derail all of the GOOD work we are doing. Enjoying a juice/soup/plant-based milk every couple of hours will keep you on track.
